The goal was to design a simple, youthful website to showcase Lucky Feather's updated visual branding, while introducing a new retail presence.
In the Summer of 2016, Lucky Feather launched its first retail website after being exclusively sold as wholesale for a decade. As a fast up-and-coming purveyor of on-trend giftables, it was important that the website "speak" to its young end-customer, both visually and through content creation. Having already worked on the development and design of many of the brand's products allowed me to have a unique perspective on the company's values, of which being "unique" is paramount.
The development of brand communication and engaging website elements was needed, such as: all written content fomatted for search engine optimization, digital photography, and layout design. Each page layout includes an array of image options to illuminate each product with moveable image rollovers and social media participation. A blog called, "Lucky Daily" was also developed to provide dynamic content for followers and newsletter features.
