The first stage in our collaboration is learning more about your exciting project! This is where you’ll fill me in on the scope (ie. the details) by completing my design questionnaire. After the agreement and deposit have been received, we’ll schedule a 50-minute kickoff meeting via phone or video chat. We’ll discuss the creative brief and go over any questions that you may have.
RESEARCH & STRATEGY
After our kickoff meeting, I’ll spend some time researching your brand, relevant trends and industry practices. I’ll develop design insights and new creative strategies to set you apart from the crowd, and most importantly reach your target audience. Next, I’ll present you with a visual mood board. This is a nice way to combine ideas from our dialogue and my research with visuals - to make sure that we’re on the same page and on track.
Once the mood board has been approved, the creating begins! Most projects include one set of initial design concepts (3-5 variants) followed by two cycles of revisions. Through each round, we'll explore creative strategies that target your objectives and advance your visual goals. Feedback at all stages ensures that your vision is executed in a meaningful way and I'll make sure we're moving ahead of deadlines.
When all designs are approved and the final invoice payment is received, I’ll prepare the artwork for your visual needs. All considerations will be made to work within your printer / production guidelines to set up the new design files successfully. I’m committed to making sure it all looks good. Finally, you’ll receive the project deliverables and I’ll thank you for your collaboration!
